Marriage Trip

My colleague Abhijit invited us (his close friends in office) to his marriage (21st May, Thursday). He was expecting us to come to his wedding which took place in north Karnataka. One week before the marriage we (first count was 8) were also very excited and ready to go for wedding. Then the problem started for everyone one by one. Karthik dropped by saying that he has to go Bangalore and then Chennai in the weekend. Next day Suma dropped because of her roommate's problem. We six members were ready to go by that time. Rajy (Suma's teammate) dropped because of her mother's health problem. Surya insisted Vasudev to come two days before wedding. So, we were six again to go. Surya booked the cab for us. Just one day before our journey Shweta dropped because of work load. I was the only girl in the group so I dropped. Finally there were four members. For four members cab would be expensive. So, first they decided to go by bus and then dropped the idea of going to marriage. On the day of wedding we were in office and we were discussing the possible excuses we can make since Abhijit would ask us why we missed the wedding.Surya said the all was because of me. I dropped so they didn't go by cab but obviously that was not true. No body was responsible for what had happened. It was just funny fate that we could not go for his wedding. :)
